OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT POLICYSTATEMENT
Down Under Pipeline Surveys Pty Ltd are providers of excavation, non destructive excavation, bulk haulage, drott’s, water cartage, street sweeping, railway work, CCTV, high pressure water jetting, smoke testing and locating services within pipes and drains services to local and state government agencies, developers and general construction customers. The nature of the Company’s activities place particular emphasis on capability, reliability, customer satisfaction and continual improvement of our management processes.
The Managing Director’s principal objective is to provide company services in a manner which conforms to legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements and a commitment to using ecologically sustainable environmental management practices. Our aim is to deliver our services while upholding company standards which are based on sound and accepted techniques.
To achieve this aim the Managing Director emphasises:
- Providing our services in a manner that conforms to customer expectations and is

- Integration and maintenance of Quality (AS/NZS ISO 9001), Occupational Health and Safety (AS4801) and Environmental (AS/NZS ISO 14001) Management Systems for all aspects of the company' activities, which comply with the letter and spirit of all applicable Standards, Legislative and Regulatory requirements, organisational policies/guidelines and contract specifications.
- Identifying, assessing and monitoring each workplace and activity in terms of achieving Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management requirements
- Minimising and where practicable, eliminating any environmental impacts on the surrounding community including flora, fauna and amenity impacts and the generation of waste materials, whilst adopting a reduce, recycle philosophy..
- Establishing measurable objectives and targets to ensure continued improvement aimed at the elimination or minimisation of work place related incidents, injury and illness, environmental impacts including pollution and the effectiveness of the Integrated Operations Management System
- Consult with Statutory Authorities, clients and individuals on appropriate Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management performance standards and adopt site practices and processes which comply with these standards there by reducing and potential adverse impacts.
This policy is issued therefore to clearly indicate the attitude of the Managing Director with regard to the Company’s Operations Management Program and related matters. Such policy initiated actions are essential to ensure that the Company maintains and enhances its reputation in the market place.
